WAYS PEOPLE MISJUDGE JESUS

     I don't know about you, but one of my major pet peeves or grievances is when someone misjudges me before they really "know" me. It grieves me when someone rejects me without first getting to know me and what I am all about. It troubles me when someone passes judgment on me without spending time with me to get to know my ways and my thoughts. Does that bother you too?

     Maybe they go by hearsay, of what someone else has said about me, who probably doesn't know me either. I don't know about you, but in my world, not too many people really "know" me. They may claim to know me but don't. I know that because I know who I spend time with and I know with whom I haven't. You cannot know someone unless you spend time with them. 

     Many people claim to "know" God! I wonder how many actually do? 

     There are so many "mega" churches and all of these people claim to "know" God. I wonder how many have actually been "born again" by God's Holy Spirit? It is more than just saying you believe in God. The Word of God says in James 2:17-23 "Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. 18. Yea, a man may say, Thou has faith, and I have works; show me thy faith 'without (apart from) thy works, and I will show thee my faith by my works. 19. Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well; the 'devils (demons) also believe, and 'tremble (shudder). 20. But will thou know, O 'vain (foolish) man, that faith 'without (apart from) works is dead? 21. Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? 22. See thou how faith 'wrought (operated) with his works, and by works was faith made perfect? 23. And the scripture was fulfilled, which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was 'imputed (counted) unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God." 

     Some people think that is all there is to it, is going to church. If you ask them if they know God they say, "Yea, I go to church on Sundays." That doesn't necessarily mean someone knows God. The Word of God says Abraham believed in God. How did Abraham prove to God he really believed in God? When God told Abraham to offer up his son Isaac on the altar, Abraham was going to with no questions asked. Isaac was his "promised" child from God! God gave Isaac to Abraham and Sarah at an old age. God promised Abraham that his seed would be like the stars in heaven too numerous to number. Abraham had a son, "Ishmael" but he wasn't the one God promised him. Now, here God is telling him to go to Mo-ri-ah and offer "Isaac" on the altar of sacrifice. Abraham obeyed and did exactly as God had said. Here they go up the mountain, Abraham with the fire and the wood and a knife and his son Isaac who he loved with all his heart. Isaac wasn't a little baby he was older in age by now to know what it meant to offer a burnt offering to God. So Isaac said, "Uh! Dad, I see the wood, the fire, and the knife but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?" Look what Abraham tells him, Genesis 22:8 "And Abraham said, My son, God will provide a lamb for a burnt offering; so they went both of them together. 9. And they came to the place which God had told him of, and Abraham built an altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar upon the wood. 10. And Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the knife to slay his son. 11. And the angel of the Lord called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham; and he said, Here am I. 12. And he said, Lay not thy hand upon the lad, neither do thou anything unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou has not withheld thy son, thy only so from me." In the next verse, Abraham looks and sees a ram caught in a thicket by the horns for the burnt offering! verse 14 says, Abraham called the name of that place Jehovah Jireh to this day, meaning The Lord will see or provide. In verses 15-18 the angel of the Lord calls a second time and tells Abraham because he hath done this thing and not withheld his only son he was blessing him and multiplying his seed as the stars of heaven and as the sand of the sea and his seed shall possess the gate of his enemies and in his seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed because he obeyed the voice of the Lord. God knew how much Abraham loved Isaac! He wasn't going to let him go through with it! God knew already that he had Abraham's heart! 

     That is what God wants, our hearts! He doesn't want us going through any religious routine. Don't get me wrong it is good to go to church. He tells us to not forsake the fellowshipping of ourselves together. However, he also sees how many who go to churches every week ignore him throughout the week. They are closing their ears to God and don't want to hear about obedience to God. God wants our obedience like Abraham! He loved God more than anyone or anything! He obeyed God no matter what he told him to do. He feared God! Many people who claim to know God don't fear him. Many do not even consider talking to him during the week. He sees those who just go to church and don't take any time for God during the week! He sees those who just go to church to "network" for their business. It's a place to meet people, they say. Some think the church is a place for singles to meet. God sees the idolatry! 

#1. One way God sees people misjudge him is by not taking him seriously! They do not take his word to heart! They misjudge God by thinking he really doesn't mean what he says! Just like Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. Just like I said, people misjudged me in the past because of hearsay, someone else "claiming' to know me but didn't. Satan came to Adam and Eve claiming to know God's character just because he quoted God's Word to them.  They misjudged God by misjudging Satan's evil self. Satan whispered, "Aw, come on God doesn't mean what he said. Genesis 3: 5 "He just don't want your eyes opened, and ye shall be as God, knowing good and evil. Well, they ate the fruit of the tree and yes, their eyes were opened they realized they were naked and hid from the presence of the Lord God. Then they were cursed and were put out of the Garden of Eden!

#2. Another way people misjudge God is: by thinking God isn't going to do anything to me because I am "tight" with him. 

They take him for granted and start to be disrespectful toward him. This is a dangerous place to be with your relationship with God. Abraham was called, "The Friend of God", because he had a healthy fear of God. What I mean by healthy fear is he wanted to please God! He willingly obeyed him because he loved him more than anyone or anything. Abraham knew the importance of obeying God. When you disobey the Word of God and don't take him seriously, it is like you are saying to God you aren't important to me and you make yourself God's enemy and not his friend. Amos 3:3 says, "Can two walk together except they are agreed?" That is why Abraham guarded against a familiar spirit from taking control. He loved God! He knew God was in control and he was okay with that! Look at what happened to Judas. He was a disciple of Jesus. Chosen by Father God but his heart was not with Jesus, even though he walked with him and talked to him. He betrayed Jesus to the Pharisees for thirty-two pieces of silver. He didn't care about his relationship with Jesus. Father God knew Judas' heart to start with and that is why he chose him because God had a plan for Jesus to go to the cross for our sins anyway. 

     It is so important we guard against a familiar spirit that would deceive us into getting too comfortable with Jesus that we let our guard down and disobey him. See, God will be our friend but don't think he is just some "buddy" that we can tell what to do. He is God! Jesus is King of Kings and Lord of Lords! Our very breath is in his hands! Ephesians 5:6 says, "Let no man deceive you with 'vain (empty) words, for because of these things comes the wrath of God upon the children of 'disobedience (unbelief)." Read 5:1-6 also. Sin has consequences. Don't be deceived thinking sin is not going to have any consequences for you because you have a relationship with Jesus. Sin leads to death if not repented of. Many people are in Hell today because of 'disobedience (unbelief) and are crying out for Just one more chance! 

"JUST ONE MORE CHANCE!"

There are so many people,

already in Hell.

Wanting so bad for just one more chance,

to come back and tell!

Just one more chance to warn their loved ones,

before they take their last breath,

and their life on earth is done.

Just one more chance before their death.

To tell them to repent and trust Jesus.

Screaming don't let Hell be your fate!

Oh! What they would give

for just one more chance, to tell others

to trust you, Jesus, before it is too late!

Oh! They're screaming and screaming,

from the corridors of Hell.

Just one more chance, just one more chance,

to come back and tell.

Please, let me go tell others,

whatever you do, don't come here!

Let me tell them to reach out to you, Jesus

for you are always near!

Let me go and tell them

you're just as close as the mention of your name.

Oh! Let me tell them Heaven and Hell are real,

It is not a game!

There is evil, darkness, and torment.

It's a horrible, horrible place!

There's many crying, just one more chance!

I'll take the time Lord Jesus to seek your face.

Just give me one more chance to receive you,

and accept your marvelous grace. 

I won't take you, Jesus, for granted,

I repent of my sin.

Just please, please one more chance,

get me out of this Hell I am in!

   

     When Jesus started his ministry his own hometown and relatives did not receive him as the Son of God. They said, "Aren't you the son of Mary? You're the carpenter!" That is why Jesus said, Mark 6:3, 4 "Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, and Joses, and of Juda, and Simon? and are not his sisters here with us? And they were 'offended (repelled) at him. 4. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honor, but in his own country, and among his own 'kin, (relatives) and in his own 'house (home)."  They say, "Familiarity Breeds Contempt". #3. Another way people misjudge Jesus is: They won't even give him a chance! People reject him right off without "knowing" him. Have you ever heard that saying, "Don't knock it until you've tried it?" Well, I say, "Don't knock him until you've tried him!" Don't judge Jesus until you personally get to "know" him. Don't go by what others say about Jesus. Or if someone you know misrepresents him against "your' liking, don't take it out on Jesus! He loves you! 

     

     Don't misjudge his goodness! The Bible says, Psalms 34:8 "O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusts in him." Get to know Jesus. Give him a chance to show you what he can do with your life! You have to invite him in. Ask him to forgive you for your sins, and give him your life. 

    How many of you when you have met someone and you fall in love, have no problem surrendering your all to that one, without really knowing them, sometimes only for them to disappoint you? Jesus will not disappoint you like people will. Never! It is not his character. It is just not in him to disappoint you! You can trust him! Get to know him for yourself, personally. Thank him for his grace and mercy and for forgiving you for misjudging his goodness!

AMERICA IS BABYLON!

        If you live in America you need to read this! Reading this title, you may be saying, "What does America being Babylon have to do with me?" Well, if you live in the good 'ole U. S of A please take heed to this warning! 

 A. The Light from above-   

     This definitely is one of the most difficult blogs I have ever written for the simple reason I have always loved my country! I have prayed earnestly and fervently for "her" and stood by her through the night with the light from above. The problem is, not everybody has done that! Many have tried earnestly and feverishly to kick Jesus, (who is the light from above) out of this country! 

Jesus says in John 8:12 KJV, Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, "I am the light of the world: he that follows me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life." 

Look at what has happened in our schools, 1963 is the year the lights went out in our public schools. One woman whom I do not want to mention her name or give her any more fame or glory had her way of taking prayer out of schools. She and others who went along with her loved darkness more than light! 

B. A Love for Darkness more than Light-

     Jesus says in John 3:17-21 "For God sent not his Son into the world to 'condemn (judge) the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18. He that believes on him is not condemned: but he that believes not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19. And this is the 'condemnation (judgment), that light is come into the world, and MEN LOVED DARKNESS RATHER THAN LIGHT because their deeds were evil. 20. For everyone that does evil hates the light, neither comes to the light, lest his deeds should be 'reproved (examined). 21. But he that does truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be made 'manifest (plain), that they are wrought in God."

 C. Getting Much Darker!

      This is why I believe God says, America is Babylon in the last days. Why did he say he was going to destroy "her"? God refers to Babylon as a "her" and we refer to America as a "her". But, why America? What is the difference between her and other countries in the last days? It is because America claims to be a Christian Nation. We sing God Bless America but yet we serve Idols and push Jesus out of our schools, our homes, and churches, and yes, I said "churches". I had visited one and I was sharing my testimony how "Jesus" saved me and delivered me from alcohol, and the minute I said the word, Jesus, everybody "stoned" me! It was like I was in the book of Acts. Everyone in the room including the leader of the group which was the Pastor's wife, and with exception of the friend I was with, all screamed at me in perfect unison, "You can't say that name in here!" I am like, what? This is a church, isn't it? What do you call it a church for, then? Let me tell you, me and my friend could not wait to get out of there! We were pretty shaken up when we got to my van. My friend said, "Wow, did you see what just happened in there? They were stoning you! It is a sad day in America when churches do not even mention or prohibit the name of Jesus being brought up! Most preach about money or mostly about this temporary life and nothing about eternity. 

Luke, who was a physician and when he met Jesus he became a disciple and followed him. Luke says in chapter 20: 9-18 King James Version Bible "Then began he (Jesus) to speak to the people this parable; A certain man planted a vineyard, and let it forth to husbandmen, and went into a far country for a long time. 10. And at the season he sent a servant to the husbandmen, that they should give him of the fruit of the vineyard: but the husbandmen beat him, and sent him away 'empty (with nothing). 11. And again he sent another servant: and they beat him also, and entreated him shamefully, and sent him away empty. 12. And again he sent a third, and they wounded him also, and cast him out. 13. Then said the lord of the vineyard, What shall I do? I will send my beloved son, it may be they will 'reverence (respect) him when they see him. 14. But when the husbandmen saw him, they reasoned among themselves, saying, This is the heir, come, let us kill him, that the inheritance may be ours. 15. So they cast him out of the vineyard, and killed him. What therefore shall the lord of the vineyard do unto them? 16. He shall come and destroy these 'husbandmen, and shall give the vineyard to others. And when they heard it, they said, God forbid. 17. And he beheld them, and said, What is this then that is written, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner? 18. Whosoever shall fall upon that stone shall be broken; but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to 'powder (dust)." 

       How would we feel if someone rejected and killed our son? Probably angry! Do we think God is not watching people reject his Son Jesus who is the light and only hope we have, being snuffed out? Oh! He see's!  He has been very merciful and longsuffering, but he is angry about his Son being rejected! Without Jesus it is going to be very, very dark! Visit my YouTube channel.

     Every time a state puts up a billboard with a bible with an X on it prohibiting bibles being brought into its state it shows it is getting that much darker! What hope does America have when you aggressively push out the only light there is which is Jesus the Son of the Living God? What hope do you have when you throw away the bible like it is yesterday's trash? Do you not realize that the bible "is" Jesus? He is the living Word of God! 

John 1:1-4 says, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2. The same was in the beginning with God. 3. All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made." 

Also verse 14 says, "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father), full of grace and truth."

     If you do not get into the Word of God, and get it into your spirit you are going to be caught in the darkness! In other words, if you do not "know" Jesus intimately by asking him to come into your heart and life and have a relationship with him, you are going to be in trouble! You are easily going to be deceived if you do not have a "relationship" with Jesus. You may not think it is a big deal now, but you will soon see, that is the most important relationship to pursue! Keep Reading and you will see. 

D. Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life 

1 John 4:1-3 "Beloved, 'believe (trust) not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. HEREBY KNOW the SPIRIT of GOD. Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God. 3. And every spirit that confesses not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of Anti-Christ, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now is it in the world." 

E. Love the Light, Hate the Darkness!-

  I don't know if you are aware of it, but we are living in very dangerous times. There is no doubt that we are in the end of this Age of Grace. 

2 Timothy 3:1-5 says, "This know also, that in the last days 'perilous (dangerous) times shall come. 2. For men shall be 'lovers of their own selves (selfish), covetous, boasters, proud, 'blasphemers (railers), disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3. Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, 'incontinent (no self control), fierce, despisers of those that are good. 4. Traitors, heady, 'highminded (conceited), lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God. 5. Having a form of 'godliness (our religion) but denying the power thereof, from such turn away." This world is full of people like this right here who are full of darkness and it is only going to get worse! The prophet Isaiah says in Isaiah 60 "Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. 2. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee."

     When God says, "darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people..." He is talking about "sin". Yes, there is such a word called, "sin". You don't hear that word too much anymore because people that are full of gross darkness do not see anything they do as sin. They say if it feels good, do it. Or whatever makes you happy, it's okay, without any regard to what God says! And yes, I am definitely going to show what God says about homosexuality and abortion! Please take this to God in prayer. Don't shoot the messenger! Pray over everything you read and get alone with God for yourselves. 

     According to statistics from 1970 to 2016 there were over 46 million precious babies aborted in America alone. Only God knows how many added to that list since the last four years. 46 million! That is the result of being a selfish, self-centered bunch of people without natural affection. God says it is murder and goes totally against what he created! If you have had an abortion in the past know that God is a forgiving God! He loves you but he is going to judge this nation because of their blood crying out! I am talking to the ones who have no remorse for the murder they have committed and who see no wrong in what they have done! I am not talking to those of you who have repented and are remorseful for it. God has forgiven you! Don't let this put guilt on you that he has already delivered you from. Your baby is with him. They all are! Stay free and keep looking up to Jesus and soon you will be with Jesus and your baby! But to the doctors who have performed abortions and keep doing it for the money or because you have no conscience, know that judgment is upon us! Repent and ask the Lord to wash you clean with his blood of all the babies' blood on your hands before it is too late! God is wrapping this thing up! We are definitely in the last days! If you truly are sorry for murdering those babies, God knows your heart. He will forgive! Turn around and instead of performing abortions, get on God's side and take that passion and use it to stop other doctors from performing them! Time is running out! 

     America, time is running out! We must get rid of pride and rebellion against God and stop doing the things he says clearly that invites his judgment!

 God's Word in the book of Leviticus 18:22 "Thou shall not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is 'abomination (sin). 

Someone may be saying right now, "Oh! that is "Old Testament that doesn't matter for today." People, God is the God of the Old Testament and the New Testament. The whole bible! Let's read what God say's about homosexuality in the New Testament then! Brace yourself I have alot of truth here for you to read! Straight from the Word of God! This is what God says about homosexuality. 

Romans 1:17-32 

17."For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. 

18. For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who 'hold back the truth in unrighteousness; 

19. Because that which may be known of God is 'manifest (shown to them); for God has shown it unto them. 

20. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: 

21. Because that, when they knew God, they 'glorified (praised) him not as God, neither were thankful; but became 'vain (conceited) in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 

22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools. 

23. And changed the glory of uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. 

24. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonor their own bodies between themselves. 25. Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. 

26. For this cause God gave them up unto vile 'affections (passions): for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 

27. And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that 'recompence (reward) of their error which was 'meet (due). 

28. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge; God gave them up over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; 

29. Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness, full of envy, murder, 'debate (strife), deceit, malignity; whisperers, 

30. Backbiters, haters of God, 'despiteful (insolent), 'proud (haughty), boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 

31. Without understanding, covenant-breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful, 32. Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them."

 

F. Birds of a Feather Flock Together- 

     Let's go over the above scriptures for a minute. In verse 18 the writer of Romans (Paul) says the wrath of in God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold back the truth in unrighteousness. Evil rules when good men do nothing! If you know the truth of God's Word and you do not speak up against it, then you are burying your head in the sand and going along with the evil. 

     Then he goes onto say in verses 19 and 20 That which may be known of God is shown to us. It is plain to see from the creation of the world. We are without excuse! Let's read what God created. 

Genesis 1:27, 28 "So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 28. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and 'replenish (fill) the earth and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moves upon the earth. 

God is a God of Reproduction! Come on people! Male and Male cannot reproduce! The only thing it reproduces is Perversion! Neither can Woman and Woman! Oh! You may say, "Yes, I can, nowadays, because of artificial insemination." Well, where does God fit in? 

Let's go back to Romans 1:21-22 God says, When they knew God, they 'glorified (praised) him not as God, neither were thankful but became proud and conceited in their imaginations and their foolish heart was darkened. Look at what he says in verse 22. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools. Mankind thinks they are so wise without God but he calls them foolish! Look at what happened at the "Tower of Babel". Mankind thought they were so smart without God! They got a so-called bright idea to build a city and a tower whose top may reach unto heaven, to make a name for themselves lest they be scattered abroad the face of the whole earth. Look what God does. Genesis 11:5 says, "And the Lord came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded. 6. And the Lord said, Behold the people are one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do, and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. 7. Go to, let us go down, and there 'confound (confuse) their language, that they may not understand one another's speech. 8. So the Lord scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth, and they left off to build the city. 9. Therefore is the name of it called, Babel; because the Lord did there confound their language of all the earth, and from thence did the Lord scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth." In their Pride and Arrogance and without God they set out to build that city and tower! They were bound and determined to do what "they" wanted to do without God, but God scattered them afterall. 

Luke 1:51 says, "He hath showed strength with his arm; he hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts." 

Proverbs 16:18 says, "Pride goes before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall." 

People are "prideful" when they try to live without God and live disobedient to him. When people have "self" on the throne and think they are so smart without him and they do not give him the glory for their lives, there is confusion and every evil work! James 3:16 says, "For where envying and 'strife (selfishness) is, there is 'confusion (disorder) and every evil work." 

Now, getting to what God says about "abortion". He calls it murder and it has invited God's judgment! Countries and those who are permitting these abortions to be legal have blood on your hands!

Let me make this clear for any precious one who may have had an abortion in the past and you are truly sorry for it, know that God has forgiven you! He sees hearts and he knows when someone is truly sorry for their sin. God is merciful, forgiving and compassionate to those who hope in his mercy. God loves you! His judgment is on those who do not see their sin of pride and self centeredness. 

     There are so many people nowadays, in their pride, who start movements and even churchs that God is just not in! Such as "Black Lives Matter" movement. God wasn't in the slavery of any race because whites were slaves also. He is not racist! He only sees the hearts of individuals whether we are a believer in him or whether we are non-believers. God only sees whether we have the red blood of Jesus his dear son in us or not!

Bottom line America has rejected Jesus, who is the Light of this World! Now I know and he knows America is not the only country or nation that has rejected Jesus. However, when God gave me that book in the link above he showed me way back then the fate of America. I asked him sincerely the other night for confirmation of where was America in the last days in bible prophecy. God gave me these verses again! 

Revelation 18:1,2 "And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power, and the earth was 'lightened (bright) with his glory. 2. And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird." 

Revelation 18:7,8 "How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow. 8. Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her." 

Remember the story we was reading earlier about the Tower of Babel? How they were in one mind instead of having the mind of Christ and they were trying to make a name for themselves? Why do you think the Lord confused their language and scattered them, the thing that they feared? Do you think he was unfair to stop them, being they were working and building, They weren't lazy! The reason the Lord had done that was they left God out and was trying to make a name for themselves without him! They were doing it for their own self-glory and not for God's Glory! Pride was the root cause in all of their hearts and minds. They were all in one mind. 

G. America Bless God!

     God alone deserves all of the Glory! We are to give him the glory for who he is, for who we are and what we have done, and for all we have! It is for God's Glory alone. Long ago, there was a King named, "Nebudchadnezzar". In Daniel 4: 28-37 King Nebudchadnezzar walked in his palace and said, "Is this not this great Babylon, that I have built for the house of the kingdom by the might of my power, and for the honor of my majesty? 31. While the word was in the king's mouth, there fell a voice from heaven, saying, O King Nebudchadnezzar, to thee it is spoken; The kingdom is 'departed (taken) from thee. 32. And they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field, they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and seven times (seven years) shall pass over thee, until thou know that the most High rules in the kingdom of men, and gives it to whomsoever he will. Then it goes on to say that the same hour Nebudchadnezzar was driven from men and did eat grass as the oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of Heaven, till his hairs were grown like eagles' feathers, and his nails like birds' claws. After seven years of being in that state in verse 34 it says basically he came to his senses. It says his understanding came to him, he started praising and blessing God and giving God the Glory! He realized we are reputed as nothing and God does as he will in Heaven and in Earth. In verse 36 it says, As soon as he started Praising and giving God the Glory Nebudchadnezzar's kingdom was restored unto him. He said what he learned the hard way, Those that walk in pride, God is able to humble.

Daniel 4:37 "Now I Nebudchadnezzar praise and extol and honor the King of heaven, all whose works are truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk in pride he is able to 'abase (humble).  

H. Humble Pie-

     When we get too proud and arrogant God knows how to bake us some humble pie! He knows when to feed it to us! America, as a whole, is supposed to be a 'Christian" nation. We sing, God Bless America! Stand beside "her" and guide her, through the night with the light from above. The thing is, God "has" blessed her, but as a whole We the People of the United States of America have not given God all of the Glory! America needs to Repent and Bless God!

Isaiah 47: 7, 8 says (referring to Babylon), "And thou saidst, I shall be a lady forever, so that thou didst not lay these things to heart, neither didst remember the latter end of it." 

I. Roots

This verse above does sound like America. We have the Word of God but how many lay it to heart. Has God's Word taken deep root in the heart of this Nation? 

Do we really worship God here in America or do we worship idols of silver and gold? 

I have heard it said that Prosperity is a greater test than Poverty. 

America has taken great Pride in being Prosperous and Powerful. However, she has glorified herself and not God. 

I hate to say it but America has been more about Prosperity, Money, Greed, Power, Lust and has been lifted up above God!

Psalms 115:4 "Their idols are silver and gold, the work of mens hands." 

Psalms 135:15 "The idols of the heathen are silver and gold, the work of men's hands."

Revelation 9:20, 21 "And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood; which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk. 21. Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts." This verse right here in Revelation is talking about people still not repenting of their sin even though they are going through much tribulation. Please don't be one of those right there who John  had a vision of that was refusing to repent and call on Jesus to save them. God says, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be established; Believe his prophets and ye shall prosper." 

2 Thessalonians 2: 1-4 "Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by his gathering together unto him. 2. That ye be not soon 'shaken (upset) in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. 3. Let no man deceive you by any means; for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition. 4. Who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called 'God (divine), or that is worshipped; so that he as God sits in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God."

 

1 Thessalonians 5: 1-3 "But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. 2. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. 3. For when they shall say, Peace and Safety; then sudden destruction comes upon them, as 'travail (pains) upon a woman with child, and they shall not escape." 

Revelation 14:6, 7 "And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people. 7. Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him, for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters. 8. All Lives Matter to God!

     God is wanting the violence, rioting, and racism to stop! This is a warning from a loving God! Jesus says, "As in the days of Noah so shall the coming of the Son of Man be!" Genesis 6: 11-13, "The earth also was 'corrupt (wasting) before God, and the earth was filled with violence. 12. And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth. 13. And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh has come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them from the earth."

     This blog post is concerning the recent event of a man named, "George Floyd", who was murdered by the hands of policemen. It is also about another man named "Tony Timpa", (links above). Please watch the video. This man called the cops for help! He was not a criminal. He was sick and needing help. The cops should all be charged in both of these cases, not just George Floyd's but also for what they had done to Tony Timpa! His life mattered to God, as well. Yes, the police should have been charged for cold-blooded in both cases, but two wrongs do not make a right! I am talking about rioting and violence does not give anyone justice! God who is the judge of all, is not in the rioting and violence "Black Lives Matter" are doing! God has had enough of the "flesh"! Let me explain what "flesh" means. The flesh is anything we are doing that is "not" led by God's Holy Spirit! Galatians 5;14-24 KJV says, "For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shall love thy neighbor as thyself. 15. But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not 'consumed (destroyed) by one another. 16. This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. 17. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. 18. But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. 19. Now the works of the flesh are 'manifest (plain), which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness. 20. Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, 'emulations (jealousies), wrath, strife, 'seditions (divisions), heresies, 21. Envyings, murder, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God."

     God tells us right there murder is of the flesh, but also 'seditions (divisions), hatred, wrath, strife also! You love doing those things you will not inherit the kingdom of God!

     I am going to say this and I do not care if anyone gets mad at me or not! I am a white woman and proud of it! My parents did not teach us "racism"! We were taught to love and respect all colors! We didn't really look at skin color! I was taught "racism" by black people! God's truth! That is my experience! Since I was in the second grade. Just a child I was taught "racism" by fellow "black" students!

     My mother was a bus driver. We rode her bus to school until we had to ride another school bus for a season. This particular bus was 90% Blacks. My brother, sister, and I and also a few white neighbors/friends were the only white people on the bus. The rest were blacks. None of us "white" people said anything to the black people at all. From the minute we got on the bus until the minute we got to school we were persecuted by the "blacks" for being "white". We were called, "White Cracker", the whole way to school. I was about 8 in the second grade, my sister was 9 in the third grade and my brother was 11 in fifth grade. I will never forget it! Get this picture if you will. I was a little child, innocent, not understanding the difference in the color of skin. Like I said already, we were taught to respect people, period! One particular day our bus pulled up at our elementary school and when we "white crackers" got off the bus we were pinned up against it, by all of the "blacks", wanting to "fight us" because we were white. Little did they know our Mother was on the bus ahead of us at the school. She happened to be looking in her rearview mirror to watch for us to get off the bus. She saw us surrounded by all of the blacks. Actually, she couldn't even see us at first but just seen a lot of black children in a circle beside the bus. Then she finally saw one of us and she jumped off of her bus to protect us. Momma bear started swinging, but then they all ran. She ran after them! She managed to get ahold of one of the black girls who were "mixed" (half black/half white), and she tore her shirt. The black children that were trying to fight us, didn't get in trouble. My mother did after she was called to the principal's office at the school.

Throughout my life, God as my witness, every time I heard the word "racism", it came from a "black" person first! 

       Yes, black people were slaves and treated wrong in the past, but so were white people!

There were white slaves also! White people have also been murdered at the hands of the law! There are Christians of all colors, who have been persecuted in the past (read the links below), and are being persecuted every day! God sees!

God also sees the babies who have been aborted! I am a white woman who grew up middle-class. I have had a gun to my head three times in my lifetime! I have been beaten multiple times! I have been strangled and spent four days in the hospital. I have an injured leg from physical abuse many times over! I have had a head concussion from physical abuse and spent three days and nights in a hospital not knowing anyone, not even my dad, mom, sons, or grandbabies. Even right now my life is being threatened by someone I deeply love! You want to know what "I" do to cope? I for sure as heck don't go out and cause riots or blow everybody up! No! I pray! I let God Almighty avenge me! He sees He has seen every murder whether Black, White, Asian, Indian. Whether it was a woman, man, boy, or girl, he has seen and judgment is coming! Jesus says, "As in the Days of Noah, so shall the coming of the Son of Man be." Read Genesis 6:11-13

So stop the Racism, hatred, violence, and riots! God does not look at the color of our skin. He only wants to see the red blood of his dear Son Jesus flowing through our veins! That is all that is going to matter! Whether we are covered by the blood of Jesus or not. Read Exodus 12 KJV When the death angel passed through he did not stop and look at the color of anyone's skin! All he was ordered to look for was the spotless blood of a lamb! When God brings judgment on this whole world he is not looking at the color of people's skin! He will be looking to see if we have the blood of his dear Son Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior on us or not!

You better be covered with the red blood of Jesus on the inside and out or you will be damned to a burning Hell whether you are white, red, yellow, or black! In Jesus' name, you better heed to the Spirit of the Lord right now! He that has ears to hear let him hear what the Spirit says!

God sees us as "souls" that are precious to him! Like a song we used to sing in church when I was a little girl, "Red and Yellow. Black and White. They are precious in his sight! Jesus loves all the little children in the world." Point is, we have all been hurt! Satan is out to steal, kill, and to destroy us all. But All Lives Matter to God! God looks at us as "souls", that are either loving Jesus and on their way to Heaven, or "souls" who are living for themselves and not him who are on their way to a Devil's Hell. He sees us as living breathing souls who controls our every breath! Genesis 2:4-7 Genesis 7:22 Genesis 46:15, 22, 25, 26, 27

 Jeremiah 35:15 "I have sent also unto you all my servants the prophets, rising up early and sending them, saying, Return ye now every man from his evil way, and amend your doings, and go not after other gods to serve them, and ye shall dwell in the land which I have given to you and to your fathers: but ye have not inclined your ear, nor hearkened unto me." 

     Do you think God is saying that to this country (America) and to the Nations?

     2 Chronicles 20:20 "And they rose early in the morning and went forth into the wilderness of Te-ko-a and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established (kept safe); believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper (succeed)."

     When someone is encouraging you concerning living for Jesus and are sharing with you the gospel of Jesus Christ it would be wise to listen and do what they are telling you to do. As Jehoshaphat said, "Believe in the Lord your God so shall ye be established (kept safe) and believe his prophets so shall ye prosper." Get rid of that judgmental, critical spirit that causes you to refuse to listen to who God sends you. If they are leading you "to" a relationship with Jesus then they are for real. Maybe not perfect, we none are, but real. 

     I titled this, "What if you are trapped in a burning house? I ask this question because if you were trapped in your house and there is a raging fire and a fireman came to get you out, you would not say, "I don't need your help! I don't know you!" Or you wouldn't ignore him or her and say, "You are not perfect, I am not listening to you! Send me someone who is perfect! or Go away and leave me alone!" No! You would be a complete idiot if you did that! Seriously! 
     
     You know what is crazy? People are actually doing that every day, spiritually speaking. Their house is being totally destroyed by Satan because Jesus is not the head of their home! Their house is literally on-fire spiritually and not in a good way either, as if they are living in Hell already on earth! Are you one of those people? I hope not! If you have never invited Jesus to be the Lord of your life, you are trapped in a burning house and may not even realize it. You may get up every day and go to work and you may think you are a "good" person but if you haven't invited Jesus into your home his presence is not there and if God's presence is not there, what is? "Yourself and Satan" rules your home and that is not a good thing spiritually. It is serious! James 3:16 says, "For where envying and 'strife (selfishness) is, there is 'confusion (disorder) and every evil work." If you have not invited Jesus into your heart, your life and your home "self" is still on the throne of your heart where Jesus should be!
     

     God may have sent you many "firemen" in your day to deliver you but you have said, "Why should I listen to you? I don't know you so don't try to tell me what to do? Or you may have told someone who God has sent you to lead you into a relationship with him through Jesus and you have said, "Don't preach to me! You have criticized that one whom God has sent saying, "Don't ask me to go to church either! There are too many hypocrites there!" 
    

     If you are one of those who say those things to someone who God has sent you to keep you from a burning Hell for eternity, you need to be thankful for those spiritual "firemen" God sends you! You need to pray he gives you another chance! This is serious! If your physical (earthly) house was burning and you were trapped you would not say any of those things to whoever it was pulling you out of that fire! You need to be all the more thankful and less argumentative concerning who God is using to pull your soul out of Hell. Your soul is way more valuable than your earthly house! Don't you think?

     Also, what about when you go to the doctor, do you ask them or expect them to be "perfect"? Most of you do not even know your doctor and your doctor does not even know you on a personal basis! But yet you take every single thing they say as the "gospel truth"! Why is that? Now, don't get me wrong I have gone to doctors. I do believe God has given them the knowledge but I pray and believe Jesus is my Great Physician first as I go. I also get a second opinion too, because I realize they are not perfect. They are just as capable of being wrong as any of us. 

     In Conclusion, The next time (and I hope you pray there is a next time) God sends one of his prophets or messengers that care about your soul please listen to them! If they are truly leading you to repent of your sins and trust Jesus as your Lord and Savior, listen to them and believe! Don't worry about them being perfect or not perfect. And stop trying to figure out how "they" could be called by God thinking you are better than them. It's not about that! It is not up to you who God calls or not! You are not worthy to be judge, only Jesus is! It is God who ordains, not you! Be wise and listen and Believe and you will prosper!

Write the Vision

     Habukkuk says, "And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the Vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that reads it. 3. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end, it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry." 

     You may say, "What Vision?' The one God your Creator gives you. You have to know and believe he is "your" Creator. Do you know who your Creator is? It is God Almighty- The Creator of Heaven and Earth! The one who some people ignore and try to live their lives without him, but not realize that in the end, they will perish. Proverbs 29:18 says, "Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keeps the law, happy is he."

     It is really sad how some people not only ignore God and try to live their lives without him, but they also disrespect, mock, and ridicule him. People, you must realize you will perish without God. He is not only the Creator of Heaven and Earth but all things. Including your very own breath! He is the one in control of your very own heartbeat, right now! Not your doctor! God is in control of that! Don't you think you need to get to know him being is, he is the one in control and knows when your heart will beat its last beat and knows when you will take your last breath?

     I know some of you have had earthly Dad's that were abusive to you. They have probably broken their promises to you over and over and acted like they didn't want you, and actually, they were not acting. Let's face it, they didn't want you! You cramped their style. Yes, it hurts! I know how it is. I have been there. It may sound cold and heartless of me to say it like that, but it is true. You gotta see, that your Earthly Dad was just used by God as a vehicle to get you here! God did not expect you to put your earthly dad first over him! God did not expect you to put all of your trust in life into your earthly, fleshly dad, who is a sinner just like we all are.

     God says there is only one worthy of our whole trust and that is his only begotten son Jesus Christ. Jesus is the only one worthy to put our trust into! Your Dad, my Dad are not perfect and neither are we. There was only one perfect one that walked the face of this earth and that was Jesus Christ, our Savior! He is the only one worthy of our total devotion and our total focus. Don't get me wrong, loyalty to your fellow man is definitely important. It is a good and respectable thing to be a loyal person, but if you don't get loyalty back from one single person on the face of this earth, we cannot let it devastate us to where we go through life with "Daddy Issues".

     Seriously, You don't have no time to waste on this earth! We have one life and that is all. Stop focusing on the past about your earthly dad and start getting to know your Creator! He will be your Heavenly Father if you realize you are a sinner in need of being born again, Romans 3:23 says, "For all have sinned, and come short of the Glory of God." We are all born sinners in need of a Savior, who is Jesus Christ!

     The bible says, "No man can come to the Father unless he draws them." The fact that you are reading this now proves that God is drawing you to himself. He Loves You So Much! He sent Jesus to die for your sins and the sins of the whole world. Think about that! Think how much love that must've been. God sent his only son Jesus to die for you! Would you send your Son to go to a cruel place to be mocked, scorned, killed by cruel men, and watch him die on a cross, a horrible, cruel death? I couldn't! But God did it for you and me. Knowing one day you would love him back just as passionately as he did for you!

     See, God had Faith in You! Did your Earthly Dad ever tell you that he has "Faith" in you? Did he ever tell you he was proud of you? Not too many Dad's tell their children they are proud of them, even after they have grown. I didn't hear it from my earthly Dad, but when I heard that God my Heavenly Father was Proud of me and He had Faith in "Me", it made me so happy! I felt like I was already in Heaven. Nobody had ever told me they were proud of me! But God did. And you know when it is all said and done, that is all that is going to matter.

     We need to get over our "selves' and start living and being what we are created to be, and that is a "Worshiper" of God! It takes spending time with God and getting to know him and his ways. God says in Isaiah 55:8 "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, says the Lord. 9. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts." You can't know God unless you spend time with him, but you have to be "born again" first. See, we are all born sinners until we realize that and know we personally need a Savior and ask Jesus to come into our heart and take over our life. Revelation 3:19-22 Jesus says, "As many as I love, 'rebuke (point out faults) and 'chastise (correct); be zealous therefore and repent. 20. Behold, I stand at the door and knock, if any man hears my voice, and open the door, I will come into him and will sup with him, and he with me. 21. To him that 'overcomes (wins the victory) will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. 22. He that hath an ear let him hear what the Spirit says unto the churches."

     Isn't that exciting? When you invite Jesus in, God is your Heavenly Father! You will have Peace, Joy, Love, Happiness in your heart. You want to feel accepted by someone? I mean real acceptance. Not the kind of acceptance you have with your so-called friends. Believe me, I know this. Your friends and sometimes your own family will stab you in the back, but God will never do that! He will cover you and fight for you and as Paul says in Romans 8:31 "What shall we then say to these things? If God 'be (is) for us, who can be against us?" I encourage you to pray and ask Jesus to come into your heart and to forgive you of your sins and to fill you with His precious Holy Spirit so you can know God better. God promises to give you his Holy Spirit as your helper, and God keeps his promises! Peter says in Acts 2:38 "Then Peter said unto them, Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ 'for (unto) the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. 39. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord God shall call. 40. And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this 'untoward (crooked) generation."

     "Fight to Keep the Faith!

     First off I would like to say Hello to everyone that reads this post. God Bless You! I appreciate you! I would also like to encourage you to Not Give Up! I know this world can be hard and it's a battle! A couple of times I have asked my Lord Jesus, "Lord, can I please have no battles for a while? Can I go on vacation from the fight? I will jokingly explain to him how even soldiers in the army are not out on the "battlefield" all the time, they do get to go on vacation. I would explain to him that I just need a little break, but I would immediately clear that up and say, Lord, I want a break from the battle but I don't mean "sick bay", please don't allow me to be put there, then I would chuckle. I am so thankful that Jesus does have a sense of humor! He loves us and understands. 

     As David says in Psalms 103: 13,14 "Like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear him. 14. For he knows our frame; he remembereth that we are dust."  The Lord knows our frame. He knows where we come from. He knows we are human. He knows how he created us. God is the Potter, we are the clay. He is taking us marred vessels and turning us into something grand and awesome! He knows what he is doing with us. He knows just how much heat we individually need to get all the cracks out, to smooth us out, straighten us out, or whatever he thinks we need to simply make us shine for his Glory!

"Make it or Break it"

I watched a vessel being molded

by a potter one day.

I talked with the potter about what he was doing.

Here is what he had to say.

He said,  "I take this clay and hold it,

with oh! such tender care. 

I hold it in my hands,

and it's not going anywhere!

The Potter said, "I mash it,

and I squeeze it,

and it changes

bit by bit. 

The Potter knows what he is doing

he's a master at his art.

He knows how to handle the clay

every single part. 

The Potter knows

exactly what to do.

He knows just how much pressure

to take the clay through.

He knows how much the clay

can stand the flame in the fire.

He knows what is good, for the vessel

and how much heat it doth require.

He keeps working on the vessel

after he does begin.

He keeps his eyes upon it.

Never to take them off again.

To make it or break it and shape it

into a beautiful design.

And then he puts his name upon it,

and says, "This work of art is mine!"

     

     I love that part in that poem God gave me. " He puts his name upon it, and says, "This work of art is mine!" Doesn't that make you want to shout? Knowing that God Almighty loves us and calls us "his", helps us get through whatever comes our way. We have to remember that we are not on this earth forever! We are just passing through, and whatever we go through, we are just "going through". No matter what we go through we have to Keep the Faith in Jesus Christ until we take our last breath! That is the one thing we have to fight for! Our Faith in Jesus! Sometimes we go through some kind of fire! Believe me, I have had what "I" believe is way more than my share! God knows I am saying the truth! Because I have often voiced my opinion to him on the matter! Until I realized I can either get bitter or better. I chose to get better, not bitter! I chose to let Satan and all of Hell know that I will never give up my faith in God! I love the story of Job, in the bible. Read the book of Job. I love the King James Version. Read how God was bragging about him to Satan. God had Faith in Job that Job was going to hang onto his Faith no matter what! Job was a man who lost everything. His children, his health, and his livelihood were gone! He went "through" a very horrible time!

       During those times when you are in the fire experiencing trials and tribulations and persecutions from the devil himself and it feels like all of Hell is coming against you, consciously choose Faith in God! You cannot be passive at this thing of keeping your Faith! We have to stay aggressive in this fight of faith! Job had to aggressively hang onto his faith in God. Job didn't have anyone except for God! Job's own wife was telling him to curse God and die. Job's friends were no comfort. They thought they were but they weren't. 

     We are to follow those who have held onto their faith until the very end. Hebrews 13:7 says, "Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the Word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation." We cannot never forget also, Jesus says in Matthew 28:20 "Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world." Amen! 

     I am here to tell you it is going to be a fight. The devil will come against you. He hates you because he hates God. He sees the awesome work God is doing in you and he knows why. He knows God is making an awesome warrior out of you and he is trying to stop it any way he can. 

Keep your Faith in Jesus unto the end brothers and sisters.

     You are a work of art and the devil knows it! The devil knows you are valuable! That is why he is fighting you!
